About Sheala

As a non-profit leader, I’ve managed many projects throughout my career. When I moved into tech, I determined to bring my thirst for learning, love of people, and desire to solve complex problems into the industry and make people’s lives better.

I’ve done that by occupying the middle ground between the customer and development team. I consider this my “sweet spot” since I enjoy translating business requirements for IT while helping clients understand the benefits and limitations of tech. Salesforce is the next step on my tech journey because I know it has great capacity for helping nonprofit organizations change their world!

On a personal note, I love traveling and am an avid reader! Mysteries, sci-fi, and fantasy–adult, youth, and juvenile–are my favorites. I also enjoy most things related to spirituality and faith.

I volunteer with Interface Ministries (iFACE). IFACE is a nonprofit organization that connects international students, scholars, and immigrants with culturally sensitive Americans. To learn more about iFACE, go here.

I also serve on the board for The Freedom School. The Freedom School is a private urban school that serves youth (preK-6th grade) and families primarily from failing neighborhoods. Click here to learn more.
