However, I wouldn’t recommend wearing red to all Indian weddings. The religious background of the families as well as the bride’s attire should guide your decision. If in doubt, ask questions of those who know more than you OR make the safe choice and choose a different color to wear. After all, you don’t want to offend the wedding couple who has so graciously invited you to this special celebration.
